Established in 1980 by Religious Community Services, Inc., The Haven provides safety, support and education for victims of domestic violence and their children. The Haven of RCS offers a continuum of services to adult victims and their children.

We recognize violence is a learned behavior that, without intervention, is self-perpetuating. Statistics show that children who grow up in homes where abuse occurs often either become abusers as adults or in the least, expect violence in their relationships. Therefore, we dedicated significant resources to teaching children non-violent ways to express feelings, solve problems and build self-esteem.
